While Deku is certainly on the expensive side, it’s definitely one of the best Thao Dien restaurants in town. The produce is organic and fresh, and the spot serves an array of options such as quinoa, pan-fried tofu, pumpkin seeds and four different kinds of cheese to choose from. It’s a bit hard to find, but it’s located down the same alley as Thai Street, a few storefronts down from Uncle Bill’s. The space isn’t too big, so it’s more of a takeaway spot; I often just bring in my own Tupperware to make the order eco-friendly, and they’re okay with this. Customers have the option to create their own salad or choose from one of the pre-selected options. Definitely check Deku out!
